We're going for a week and staying an hour away from Venice in Bibione. Bibione is known for being quite touristy, but as we're going in June it won't be so full as in August.
We booked with a travel agent instead of online - I did look online but the thing is there are just too many offers everywhere I kind of went crazy trying to tell what website was better!
Instead we went to a travel agent last Wednesday where they gave us three 4 star hotel choices and also suggested we take the train as it's cheaper than a flight! We had a think, picked a hotel and went back today and ta daaa it was booked! No stress of five different websites telling you different things and they even gave us a bottle of champagne to celebrate. We also decided not to book a flight, as it was over 200 euros for a one hour flight (there and back) and with the train its from 80 euros (there and back) and surprisingly only takes 6 and a half hours!
And now to get back to learning Italian for our holiday :)
